Choy Chee Yean (CY Choy)

CY commenced practice in 1993 as an international arbitration and disputes lawyer. He practiced with international law firms Baker & McKenzie, Simmons & Simmons (Hong Kong) and Jones Day. He was also partner and Head of Rajah & Tann’s Projects & Infrastructure practice.
CY advises and represents clients in a broad range of commercial and corporate litigation and disputes. His focus and specialization is in the area of construction and engineering law.
CY was recognized as a leading construction lawyer by several global legal publications, and was part of a team of adjunct lecturers who designed and implemented the inaugural Construction Law Course in the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore.
He has written numerous papers and co-authored books on issues relevant to stakeholders in construction/engineering projects including the following:
